When we first designed this jacket, back in 2018, it was called "the Linen Jacket". It's seen many different colours, linen fabrics from around the world, even a cotton canvas version of "the Linen Jacket" was made in 2021.
In July 2025, our nephew Lucas was born. He's the cutest little dude, and many of you know, the names of the pieces in our collection are named after the people and places we love. We love this jacket, and we certainly love lil' Lucas. "The Linen Jacket" is dead, long live "the Lucas Linen Jacket"!
I'd love to say we spent sleepless nights creating sample after sample of this jacket. But actually, from the moment James cut the very first piece we knew it was right. No notes, no tweaks. We found our shape, which married perfectly to its fabric. We hope you love it.
